I know most of our oil is imported, but some or our gasoline companies are American owned. Even though it is difficult to find American made products you can still find companies that are American owned. I was surprised at the list of American owned gas companies versus non American. Since the list of American is so long, I will list those that are non American. Amoco, Arco, Boron, BP, Citgo and Shell. So I guess we should avoid these. This was the only list I could find and I found it here: howtobuyamerican.com. This website is full of information on American buying.

Everyone is aware of our economic situation and I think one of the biggest problems is that we are buying too much stuff from other countries and not enough from our own. Our unemployment lines are getting longer everyday. I can't stop the problem by myself so I need help. Let's start buying American made products and help ourselves. What US made products are out there, and where are they? We are in this together, so lets help one another.
